Volunteer

The objective of the Redondo Beach Youth Basketball league is to instruct the youth of our community in the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage, and scholastic achievement so that they may grow to be good, decent, healthy and trustworthy adults.  This can only be done by those individuals who dedicate themselves to these endeavors.

To achieve this objective, RBYB will provide a supervised program of competitive basketball games under CIF rules. The Board of Directors and all members shall bear in mind that the attainment of exceptional athletic skills or the winning of games is secondary, and that the molding of future citizens is of primary importance.

In order to perform this function, we need volunteers to assist in managing, coaching, refereeing, and sponsoring. We have seen a rise of league fees in the past few years, due to the lack of parental volunteers. RBYB needs you!
